(781): Act your age.
(1-781): I am. I’m acting like a drunk 20 year old.

La Marionetta
(Inspired by The Art of Coco Book, which explains that Héctor’s janky limp and spastic movement was inspired by Mexican marionettes.)
Give me a while to recover from being a dumb bitch
request by anon : fleshy imector + their age difference in The Land Of The Dead,
youngHéctor very much in love witholderImeldasomething i made rather quickly, sorry 😛 their non-hollywood-standard age-gap is very dear to me, so of course i had to draw this request. For Héctor’s clothes, i used as inspiration the ones we see in his photography. And for Imelda, it is inspired by what she wears in the movie but with longer sleeves and a shawl (( click for larger version ))
And they were ROOMMATES
(the Chihuahua is standing on the other Chihuahuas)
Hector you 100% jumped off the ledge to show off and you know it
“I like the gray. The way the light hits it. Like… a piece of silver moonlight.”
their canon age-difference in the land of the dead is very precious to me, and i wanted to draw something with it. maybe
Imelda, even if a very proud woman, has some ~~tiny doubts about her physical
appearance when (young) Héctor is back in her life again? and of course, Héctor
being a kind -and very much in love- man, just tells her that her
sliver-hair is hermoso and that she is as beautiful as the day he met her.
Un loco y su llorona.
NO BELLY SCRITCHES
I don’t know why it took me so long to realize that Hector is like… a whole head taller than his wife, but I absolutely love it.
