We actually love Speedy. Grew up watching him and, as a Mexican myself, was never offended. My Papi watched him when he was a kid and loved having, what he felt, was positive representation of his culture.

Cultural representation, as stereotypical as it is, is something we feel proud of. It literally gets me annoyed at people who claim something in behalf of some culture when the culture itself accepts it and relishes in it.
