The guy is a spy, he has traveled all around the world, probably met thousands of beautiful and fascinating women, and yet?

Yet this Bostonian mom managed to get Spy’s attention, and he gave her a son.

And 23 years after that (at the time of the “meet the team”, if my calculations are correct), he still sees her, and they walk hand in hand as if any time hasn’t passed at all.

We could try to say he only goes to see her to have a little fun (given the pornographic pictures the enemy spy managed to get lmao), but this would be ignoring the way Spy looks at that picture above at the end of the short.

We’re given more proof of how he cares about her in the comics ; when Scout says losing his family’s savings would kill his mom, Spy changes his mind and accepts to help him.

So.. Who is Scout’s mom? What is her name? What makes a seemingly regular mom from Boston so interesting in the eyes of a man who could get any woman in the world?
So many questions.

…I’m just very passionate about this couple okay?

I feel like adding to my own post something that I failed to mention:

Spy got an image of this woman engraved on one of his guns, The Ambassador, and if that’s not one of the most romantic thing a spy could possibly do then I don’t know what is.

I want someone to love me as much as Spy loves this bostonian mom.
