I fucking love how that last SU critical post is phrased like a safety psa for “inspiring su theorists” getting their theories stolen from the writers of SU as if it isn’t written years in advance + theorists are gonna have to take drastic measures to ensure their “intellectual properties” (tumblr su theories) don’t come true anymore so I guess they’ll just have to fuckign copyright their fan theories now and sue Steven Universe when the things they’ve been foreshadowing for years inevitably turn out to be true. not even acknowledging how SU critics seriously think they own Steven Universe now but regardless: “your intellectual property is important. stay safe out there”
They seriously think they didn’t plan anything past Ocean Gem I’m screaming the crew meant they thought the show was going to end back then so they only storyboarded till there. They still had a lot of the show written in advance oh my god
How do these people exist. How?? Also are they aware it’s been YEARS since Ocean Gem? So even if they didn’t plan past Ocean Gem at first, that’s not relevant now?? But they did plan past!! They have a show bible so?? Besides if they didn’t, then why is Garnet still a fusion in the pilot episode? We don’t find that out until after Ocean Gem.
